It’s not very often you’ve got a fitness center that offers multiple types of Yoga. We are very lucky to offer you two!

Hatha Yoga consists of two words in Sanskrit- “ha” meaning “sun” and “tha” meaning “moon.” Hatha yoga asana classes consist of both physical postures, represented by the sun, as well as meditative exercises, represented by the moon. Together, these practices help guide the body and mind to equilibrium. Classes will consist of subtle and dynamic warm ups, sun salutations (Surya Namaskar), as well as an asana (posture) series. Hatha yoga is great for beginners, but even intermediate and advanced yogis can benefit from focusing on alignment and holding postures for longer periods of time. Join us Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 6:30pm with Sarah.

Yoga helps with muscle tightness and soreness that you can experience after a CrossFit workout. Yoga helps to loosen you up after a training session, speeds up recovery, and reduces soreness.

Vinyasa Yoga can be translated as “arranging something in a special way.” It is a flowing, dynamic sequence of poses that is one of the most popular styles of yoga in the United States. Also sometimes called “Vinyasa Flow Yoga,” this type of practice involves synchronizing the breath with a continuous flow of postures. Vinyasa Yoga has both physical and mental benefits. Physically, sweat releases toxins and re-energizes our bodies. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes the chatter of the mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout our bodies. Join us Sunday mornings at 8am with Kris.
