We welcome you to join EH Strength, our official USA Weightlifting Club. This has been an idea in the making for some time now, and we are very excited to finally bring it to fruition.
What is it?
EH Strength is a Barbell Club that is aimed at improving your olympic lifts. The goal, hopefully for some of you, is to eventually compete in a USA Weightlifting meet. But, nonetheless, you will pay a monthly fee to receive access to private additional barbell programming (on SugarWOD), meant to improve your lifts and get you stronger. This club will be a self-led club with mostly peer coaching. You will follow the programming at your pace (8-week cycles) on whatever days work for you.
When is it?
Monday & Wednesday 5:30-7:30pm, Sunday 9:00-11:00am. While these will be designated Barbell Club times, you can do the work on whichever days work best for you during Open Gym. These designated times will be for those who want to lift with their friends, take their time and get it right. Do you need to stay for the entire 2-hour block? Absolutely not. This just guarantees that you have the time you need. This is a much slower paced sport, so rest between sets can eat up a good amount of time.
We will have a formal, coach led class the third Sunday of every month at 9AM, beginning February 18. These classes will run you through positional drills and error analysis that you can bring back to your training.
Who is it for?
Everyone! Members. Non-members. Coaches. Teen’s. Master’s. Baby Bauer. Well, maybe not Baby Bauer.
How much does it cost?
Members $20/month. Non-Members $50/month. Coaches $15/month or pick up an extra class. Free for those who see Coach Ally for 1:1 sessions.
When does it start:
You can start right now, but programming wont be released to club members until Monday, Jan 22.
